Following Group's action on issues of general corporate social responsibility, Ravago Lavrion actively supported and participated in a very special action that took place in the city of Athens, titled "Friendship Walk 2019". A special event where volunteers and people with mental retardation and other developmental difficulties gave loudly their own message for equality without exceptions.
The purpose of this action, which has been realized for the 6th consecutive year by "Best Buddies Greece", is the establishment of friendly relations between citizens and people with disabilities. Best Buddies is a global organization and its mission is to create an International Volunteer Group that will help promote friendliness, supportive professional integration and the development of leading standards for people with mental and developmental difficulties.
The "Friendship Walk 2019” took place on Saturday, June 22, at Syntagma Square. In the surrounding area were exhibition stands, and multiple musical and dancing events.
Employees from Ravago Lavrion and Group's other companies, participated in the walk by defining with this participation their own personal contribution to an event that symbolizes the power of team effort and the optimism for a better world.
