The international agreement that happened almost 2 years ago changed the map in the market of construction products and building solutions. Ravago Building Solutions is responsible since then for the production and commercial distribution of Dow’s well-known extruded polystyrene products. The 7 plants that since then are working under the umbrella of Ravago Group are in Greece (Lavrion), United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, France, and Turkey.
Ravago Group empowered its market share and growth and is perceived as a leader in the market when it comes to XPS production and distribution and ensured a place in the European market by making this strategic move.
From a local point of view, Ravago Lavrion continues the production of high-quality extruded polystyrene at the plant located in Lavrion following the already existing strict quality standards and ensures the smooth transition to high quality Ravago products.
To avoid confusion, it is important to mention that the only difference from Dow’s extruded polystyrene products is just the logo on the packaging that is since then replaced by Ravago’s Tree and the trade names of the already existing products.
Ravago Hellas Building Solutions by distributing these products for more than 35 years worked as a catalyst for those products to succeed in the construction industry by making these trademarks a synonym of high-quality insulation in Greece.
